Hp Bluetooth Mouse

My HP Laptop is failing me…i need help?

My laptop cannot ever recognize my bluetooth mouse anymore and the scroll on the side of the touchpad only works when im in the control panel, which i find odd. what should i do? how do i fix it so that my mouse works again? i got this computer new 5 months ago.

check to see that it is connected in your bluetooth devices; you can find this by typing bluetooth in the vista start menu. This sounds like a driver software conflict, because you are having difficulties with tracking devices (i.e mice). If that fails to help, try a system restore. If that too fails you could do a full recovery, but be sure to backup all personal data first
